Mr. Palmer “Bob” has been an intricate part of the service with Hucke and Associates since 2002.

At Hucke, Bob assists with many facets of the appeal process.  He works closely with the Department of Finance and The NYC Tax Commission with complex matters that are difficult to alleviate, as he tends to all client issues.

Prior to joining the firm, he was with Marvin F. Poer Company as an Assistant Tax Consultant where he was in charge of the tax refund process, assisted with variations of assessments and attended Tax Commission hearings as an advocate for clients.  In addition, Bob assisted with the preparation of Real Property Tax Audit forms that are required by the NYC Law Department to ascertain a pre-trial hearing, as well as assisted with the completion of the entire Tax Commission process.

Bob began his career in the assessment field in 1987 in the Real Property Assessment Bureau as an Assistant Assessor with the City of New York where his main responsibilities were to inspect properties that were either altered or newly constructed.  He also input assessment changes that were implemented by the Assessor.
