On January 15th, the City of New York will release the 2020/21 Tentative Assessment Roll. The Department of Finance is responsible to value over one million parcels for real estate tax purposes.  These values will affect owner’s taxes for the 2020/21 tax year which commences on July 1, 2020.  All Class II and IV tax appeals must be filed by March 1, 2020.  Challenging your assessment, is the only way that could assist in mitigating real estate taxes.  Please do not hesitate to contact our office via phone or e-mail concerning the appeal process.

Due to the first re-assessment of Nassau County in 11 years, most commercial property owners could expect substantial increases in their market value.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
